SAWDUST DRAGONS AND ANIMALS
Northern Thailand is  renowned  for intricate  woodcarvings.  The shavings and sawdust that are created in
the process have been creatively " recycled" and  put to good use.  The sawdust is mixed with glue to form a
clay which is then molded, carved, and then painted to form these  detailed figures.  Some are mounted on
or around wooden bases which are also  the discards of the  woodcarvers.
