​Our product lines include:                       HANDCRAFTED RESIN STATUES FROM THAILAND
  Our statues and figures are  hand produced by a small family business in Northern Thailand.  Resin is added to powdered calcium which   gives weight and the feeling of polished stone to the statue.  The mixture is poured into molds and allowed to harden.   The figure is then lightly sanded before the final color and finish are applied.    There may be two color choices  listed:   The brown gloss is a three part color process.  Due to the nature of this hand process, statues will vary from  red-brown to brown-black in color.   The second color choice is a  stone colored finish which our craftsmen create by immersing the statue into a boiling solution.  
TERRACOTTA ART FROM THAILAND
Nimba Traders offers a range of hand cast terracotta art from Thailand.  Our hand molded replica relief tiles represent a traditional craft of Thailand.  These are created in central Thailand and are often images seen on walls and facades of ancient temples throughout Southeast Asia.
SAWDUST DRAGONS & ANIMALS
Northern Thailand is renowned for its beautiful wood carvings and hand crafted furniture.  The Thai people, both creative and resourceful, have “recycled“the sawdust produced by the carvers. The animals are crafted from the sawdust of rubber wood which is mixed with glue to form a clay which is then molded and carved into these wonderful figures.  The pieces are mounted on or around irregular shaped pieces of teak wood which are, again, the cast-offs of the wood carvers.  The animals are hand painted and given a light finishing spray.
Masks and Statues
Our wooden masks are handcarved in Bali Indonesia  from Albizzia wood.  The Albizzia tree is fast growing and provides the woodcarvers with an environmentally friendly  source of wood.
